# Motion and interactive artwork

> Desktop mouse controls, mobile motion, reduced-motion support, and the floral AVRXT illustration.

The homepage’s floral artwork is a decorative illustration of the AVRXT name. Desktop controls stay inside the illustration and do not move the page content.

## Mouse and keyboard controls

| Interaction | Result |

| Move the mouse over the artwork | Gentle tilt and foreground/background depth |
| Drag with the left mouse button | Pan within bounded limits |
| Click, then scroll over focused artwork | Zoom between 80% and 165% |
| Click without dragging | A colorful petal, sparkle, and ring burst |
| Double-click | Reset the view |
| Zoom buttons | Change magnification without a wheel |
| Arrow keys while focused | Pan the illustration |
| `+`, `-`, `0`, or `Home` | Zoom or reset |
| `Escape` | Release artwork focus |

## Motion preferences

The pause control stops animation. Browser or operating-system reduced-motion settings suppress decorative animation and click bursts. Effects also pause when the artwork leaves the viewport or the tab is hidden.

## Mobile behavior

The narrow layout keeps a smaller animation set. Desktop mouse controls, extra trails, floating particles, and individual-letter choreography are not enabled there. Touch scrolling remains available.

## Performance limits

Click bursts remove themselves and only three can be active at once. The illustration uses inline SVG and CSS instead of a video download or third-party animation runtime. Petal layers are animated as groups rather than hundreds of separate loops.
