The main website and Muzix have separate email flows. Do not assume joining one subscribes a reader to the other.

Main-site updates

Signup sends a confirmation link. Confirmation consumes its token atomically before scheduling the welcome message. A welcome-provider outage does not roll back a confirmed subscription. Unsubscribe links read state on GET and require explicit POST confirmation to change preferences.

Muzix automation

The Muzix repository schedules its monthly GitHub workflow at 03:00 UTC on the first day of the month, or 08:30 India Standard Time. Normal issues cover the previous completed calendar month in Asia/Kolkata. Manual runs support controlled previews and explicitly requested issues. Delivering a real issue is an email send to actual subscribers: inspect the month, audience, preview, and content before approving it.

Snapshot content and accuracy

The extended email includes cover images, on-loop selection, top artists, tracks, albums, activity rhythm, and known-duration playtime. Playtime is a full-track estimate from verified durations, not measured listening time. Unknown durations are excluded and coverage is disclosed.

Template requirements

Use readable fallback fonts, source attribution, a working unsubscribe option, and with 🩶 @avrxt. Logos must be public assets; recipient-specific private links must not enter shared previews.

Delivery troubleshooting

A green workflow does not prove inbox delivery to every recipient. Check provider events, bounces, complaints, suppression state, and the workflow artifact. Do not resend a whole audience to diagnose one uncertain delivery.
