Open Port checker
Use the live tool.
Get started
Enter a public hostname or IP address you are authorized to test. Select one TCP port between 1 and 65535, acknowledge authorization, and submit the check. Compare the outcome with your firewall and service configuration.Understand the result
Open means the server established a TCP connection at that moment. Closed or filtered can indicate refusal, a firewall, routing trouble, or timeout. The connection timeout is approximately 3.5 seconds. Latency measures the attempt, not application performance.Limitations and troubleshooting
Private, local, and reserved destinations are rejected, including hostnames with mixed public and blocked answers. This is not a port-range scanner or UDP test. If a local service is unreachable, check its listening interface, inbound firewall, public DNS, and port forwarding. An open connection does not validate TLS or login.Use it responsibly
Only test systems you own or have permission to inspect. Submit the minimum information needed and avoid credentials, private tokens, and unrelated personal data. Network observations depend on the service’s vantage point and can change over time. Repeated requests may be rate limited; wait before retrying rather than repeatedly submitting a failing query.Report a problem
Include the tool name, approximate time, browser, expected result, and a redacted example in a contact message. Do not send passwords or private network details. Check the status guide when multiple tools appear unavailable. All tools
